The Big Monster Snoreybook by Leigh Hodgkinson

Despite the introduction, that claims there is NOTHING to see here and apologises due to the fact you are reading a very DULL book, you are in fact about to read an incredibly funny book. You are about to read a book with LOT’s to see (BIG & small).

You will meet a whole host of monsters including knobbly-kneed Norris, Flora the fussy fidget and snotty Stanley.

The illustrations are a delight; Leigh Hodgkinson plays with the sense of scale fantastically. The colours are monstrously bold and bright. The text is full of onomatopoeias that are great for creating a sense of place when reading aloud.

It’s a riot of a picture book – one I guarantee children will pull off the shelf again and again and again… & the best part is – you won’t mind!
