There’s a Bear on my Chair by Ross Collins

The story goes, a bear has taken up residence on the mouse’s favourite chair. The mouse goes on to try many different strategies to remove this unperturbed bear from his chair.

Reminiscent of Dr. Suess, with comical rhyming text that flows and twists and rolls off the tongue. Silly in all the right ways, this book creates magnificent characters in a Tom & Jerry like way.

Splendid illustrations sit in bold coloured open spaces. The type is set purposefully to add to the layout of the spreads but to also act as a helpful guide when reading aloud.

An excellent book for sharing with children.

But what’s that? Is that a Mouse in Bear’s house?!
