The Nonsense Show by Eric Carle

Nonsense and surrealism.

Children are used to strange statements in stories – nursery rhymes are full of them, “the cow jumped over the moon” and “the dish ran away with the spoon.”

In The Nonsense Show, children will delight in the obscurity of the imagery of such things as, ducks growing out of bananas, a mouse catching a cat, a fish in a cage and a bird submerged in water.
