Malala’s Magic Pencil by Malala

If you had a magic pencil, what would you wish for? Malala wished she could solve problems like the smell of the rubbish dump near her home and to make her family happy. She recognised that the world was unfair and needed fixing but Malala didn’t have a magic pencil. However, she discovered that even without a magic pencil, she could still work every day to make her wish come true.

Malala, the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner, is an inspiration to girls and women around the world and this is her story of empowerment. In this beautifully illustrated picture book, Malala tells her inspiring story in her own words to a younger audience to help children find hope and believe in themselves during difficult times.

An important reminder to all of us that we can all do our bit and work together to make this wold a better, fairer place for all.   This book, with its powerful message, is a must-have.

Written by Malala Yousafzai, illustrated by Kerascoet and published by Puffin Books.
